Also observing the growth trajectory of higher education including Medical Education in the country.
Studied the condition of higher education in the state of Bihar, causes of its fall and alternative strategy to revive the system to make it relevant, acceptable and forward moving.
Also studied the slow pace of industrialisation in the state, infrastructure development, policy framework and the deficit areas.
Closely monitored the growth of left wing extremism in undivided Bihar, causes of its militancy, ground level acceptability, indoctrination deficit, rise of private armies as a challenge to left wing extremism, electoral positioning of the Maoists, selective impact of poll boycott calls and political nexus between public representatives and the Maoists.
Observed the carrot -stick policy to combat ultra left extremism and the Sarkar Apke Dwar programme, execution of development schemes, the concept of Charwaha Vidylayas and the cycle scheme, labour migration, child labour and other socio economic issues having a bearing on the growth potential and the economic dimensions of the politics of Mandir and Mandal including the Mandal effect on the Muslim politics of the state.
